For an assignment in AICE Media, we were required to create 15 shots using various camera shots and angles.
My partner and I came up with a story of 2 students at a high school taking a test and one cheating off the other. I did many types of shots, including medium, long/wide, close-up, and canted shots
I believe we did well with the story behind my camera shots. I believe it was clear and understandable. The shots clearly showed the dynamic between the 2 subjects. One student looked sweet and kind. The other looked mean and rude. In one of the shots, it's shown in a low-angle two-shot with student one looking worried about a test in front of her. Beside is student 2, looking peaceful about the exam. We decided to use a two-shot for this, my favorite throughout the assignment, because you can see both subjects how their expressions of what they are doing. In contrast, I believe we could've done better with the close-ups and point-of-view shots. Rather than just put the camera where my eyes were, I should've zoomed in, making it look like someone's actual perspective of what's going on. For the close-ups, we could've moved in more on the subjects instead of being far away.
